Any special techniques in desoldering this rectifier?

I need to desolder a bridge rectifier as shown on the attached photos. I found that two of the four holes are different from the other two holes. The middle two holes have something like a metal ring on the hole. Is there any reason for this? When desoldering, is special technique and/or equipment needed?

the center holes have rivets in them for strength,
    desolder the outer pins first,
if the rectifier is defective it may be easier for you to cut the pins and remove them individually.

If you have a temperature controlled heat gun and a temperature controlled soldering iron preheat the center two pins and use new 60/40 soldering wick with flux on it and use the heat gun on the round metal insert then use the soldering iron on the other side with the soldering wick but do not put the soldering wick on it until the solder is flowing then use the wick and it should flow to the wick

If you have a desoldering gun you basically do it the same way but instead of using the wick you use the desoldering gun now if you have a desoldering sucking pump iron is a little bit easier to use than just the pump pin

          Thanks for your suggestions.
Yes, it is difficult to do so with just a soldering iron and soldering wick. Finally, I used a heat gun to desolder it.

On one layer board is not so hard, see video on 15min about technique with tin sucker, and after tin river technique to desolder multileg component. Soldering wick I dont use on these easy thing because it costs and THT components have a lot tin on pads.
