    D-I-Y LMS bridge kit design

I came across this interesting DIY article over at an overclocking forum I frequent, not trying to cross promote or anything... but it got me thinking as to the potential this test device (utilizing an old PC & soundcard) could have

    Original design specs @ Steber.pdf

Software (freeware) to enable usage @ LMSProg.zip

Reference thread @ Mrboo's Yoghurt Pot LMS Bridge

there is a bit of this stuff around Taz and yeah it is quite interesting stuff

with the right A/D interface and software you can get your pc to become some good spec test equipment.

like turning your PC into a CRO and Sign gen, time Logging Multimeter.

Stuff that a few years back would have been expensive for a hobbyist or techs at home

like this little Device Johnny G uses for psu testing

Nice find thought taz dont think I have seen that one

      You're welcome starfury1

I saw this and thought yeah! as I've got a 386 class system coming my way when I upgrade a lady's PC (using the refurbished IBM Netvista I recapped), it would make a perfect addition to my workshop
