Top 5" of Screen is Copied at Bottom

I have a Philips plasma 42PF7220A/37 that displays fine for most scenes but when the top part of the screen is light and the lower part of the screen is dark, the top 5" of whats displayed on the screen overlays the true image on the bottom of the screen. I call is "ghosting" since I can still see the original image beneath the overlaid image. It is a stationary bar that appears as a "gray" version of whats displayed at the top of the screen. It happens whether the unit is hot or cold and it doesn't matter which input is being used. Specifically, I'm using the HDMI input from my Verizon FIOS STB set to 1080i and the Component input from a DVD player. I've searched around but i can't find anyone else with the same problem or a solution to anything remotely similar.

I got the TV from my friend who was throwing it because it has the 7-blink error. I ended up changing the y-buffers, changing (2) 3300uf caps on the power supply and replacing a shorted MOSFET on the y-sus board. This is my first plasma repair but I have experience in repairing electronic devices. Please let me know if anyone has a solution.

My guess would be the logic main board.

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
      by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

TCL 50S535 bad tcon or panel issue?
      by x_orange90_x
Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

Sharp (Hisense) LC-55p6050u - Flashing/dimming row of pixels
      by DrvLikHell
Hello again! I have come back for some wisdom and hopefully for some guidance with this problem I'm having. The TV is a 4k 55" Sharp LC-55p6050u and the problem is every other line of the bottom 32 lines flickers out, comes mostly back, then flickers out again, and repeats this continually. The lines on the bottom right of the screen go out completely while the lines on the bottom left are affected so slightly that it's almost impossible to see it. There is a gradual gradient from appearing almost perfectly fine on the bottom left, to an obvious problem on the bottom right.

      The...

iphone XS turns off when press on screen.
      by smic717394
      Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...
