Programmed and resoldered - Power on, Blinking caps and num.
Then, power off and fan spins max power on no display.

Hello all

Thanks for reading.

Ill start by saying this is a new hobby of mine and I am using a CH341A programmer.

I have reprogrammed 4 of thesw WSON8 W25q128fv chips with success but am struggling with my 5th.

Motherboard: 6050a2892401-mb-a01 bios

Chip was dead and unreadable,(from me trying to make a clip for it) so downloaded a bios for the above, programmed and resoldered.

Getting full fan and power light on no display.


I have tried other dumps from my laptops of the same model, they get a BIOS error signal on caps and num keys.



If you're still reading, I need a BIOS dump for this motherboard, and any assistance / advise for a novice if possible

Find an 850 G3 bios with clean ME firmware, use the forum search you`ll find one.If it still doesn`t boot then the problem is somewhere else.

Can someone unlock this 850 G3 bios dump - i've tried the hp unlocker which produces an unlocked file but the power on password is still there after reflashing and refitting the chip.

Open the bios with a hex editor, fill the area selected between the offsets in the picture with zeros.Then use the RCUnlocker
