Hello, first time posting here. I hope I get some good help!
My Samsung Syncmaster 2232BW was having problems starting up some time ago, and I figured it was the capacitors that were faulty. So, I bought myself a few new capacitors and a solder iron to try and change them. Unfortunately, due to me being a miser, I bought the cheapest solder iron I could find and it was appalling. I probably destroyed the PCB with that piece of junk.
So, the result of my attempted DIY is an LCD monitor that starts up just fine (an improvement, I guess), but shows nothing but pure white. My question is, can my monitor be fixed any more? Or have I permanently destroyed it? I'm really hoping that it's just bad soldering and that it can be fixed without too much more hassle.
I appreciate any advice I can get!
