Rubycon, Panasonic, and Nichicon are low quality? Not. It's more along the lines of poor engineering by Dell.... A system that doesn't breathe well tends to cook lytics...

Dell I believe uses the lowest quality components.

Based on the Intel motherboard, the Rubycon caps, or the Panasonic caps?

You might be thinking of the older Dells that had the defective Nichicon HM and HN but that wasn't Dells fault and just about every mobo mfr [including Apple] got caught with that one. Nichicon HM & HN are high quality caps but Nichicon screwed up yhose two series from 2001-2004.

Only other Dell problem is crappy air flow.
Can blame Dell for that but it's not a parts quality issue, it's a poor case design.
