That worked, thank you so much! Any guides you can point me to on how to learn the process of editing these BIOS dumps?
One item of concern though, when I first started setting it up and connected it to the internet after doing a fresh install I got a message about Remote Management saying such and such company "can automatically configure your computer" followed by a prompt to enter corporate credentials. Couldn't get out of that loop until I disabled WiFi, powered off, then power it back on with no internet access. At that point I was able to setup a new account and sign in and reconnect to the internet. But I'm wondering if it will remotely lock?
This StackExchange thread suggests the possibility of just disabling the MDM daemon:
