With new battery, the laptops boot, with picture. However the dedicated VGA BGA is not in use. The PM_ALL_GPU_PGOOD = 3V3 while startup, but when he uses the VGA driver? the PM_ALL_GPU_PGOOD comes to nul.Leave a comment:

No graphical? picture?
System starts but reboot/crashes about half the booting process, see picture.
Laptop was very hot. (closed lid?) when it broke.
It has a lot of dust in it and it has a protection case on it.
Battery was expanded too, and must be replaced.
I do this testing with power cable and without battery connected.
PM_ALL_GPU_PGOOD is 3,3
What can be the reason?... -

On most recent laptop motherboards, almost no electrolitic capacitors are used anymore.
They use a lot tantalium and ceramic capacitors in parallel.

Because it is "impossible" to remove all capacitors and measure one by one and then resolder one by one, is there a way... -

Monitor Benq Q7C5 with same "4H L2T02.A03" works fine but after a few minutes (not seconds) momnitor goes off.
You can put it back on and then after a little again switches off.
Tested 8 big capacitors (2x 1000uF/16V 2x 470uF and 2x 1000uF/10V), soldering it out and measured ESR and capacitance, both are ok.
Hard to find without schema.

I had a totally dead AL1916W.
I found power diode D101 in short, I replaced it. Then the green light goes on, after 5 sec light turn in to orange. This is without video connected.

Thank I was able to download the service manual for a ME7. Not on this site, but on this site I found the "Styling sheet" and they use the ME7. I then search on other sites to find the service manual and I found it!
The ME7 is not exact for the 42PFL9632D I think but it near the same, I look for the power now.Leave a comment:

TV Philips 42PFL9632D - bad sound
On a TV Philips 42PFL9632D there is perfect picture and sound.
While watching suddenly there is a very loud sssssssss-sound and you don't here anything. If you want to shutdown te TV it is not possible. After 10 à 15 seconds the TV reboots it self.
I want to fix this problem before it get worse.
Can this be also bad cap's?
Has somebody experience the same problem?
