Anybody still not found? Got this laptop witch shorts ac adapters, and don't have clue where to start. Maybe someone could help and get me on the way?

inject a dc voltage of about 5v with a lab power supply on the 19v rail and set current limit to about 1 amp, and check for hot spots to see what component heats up, increase the current if nothing seems to be heating up

Dell E6540 schematic/boardview request

Hi folks,

I have the schematic already for the LA-9411P version of this model - see below!

I am trying to find the LA-9412P schematic, which is the board I am working on. Does anybody have it? I have searched everywhere to no avail.

If anybody has the boardview for either of these boards, that would be great.

hi there! I got allegro viewer but when I open the .brd file I only see some symobls and numbers ...how can I search for a resistor?

i have today converted to uma too (on precision M2800 - LA-9413P - mainboard looks same)- removed three jimpers near pl600/601 coils and shifted resistor.

First start was ok - i have entered bios without problem and gpu was cold....but i am unable to start it again...still black screen

I must test to reflash bios
