I've browsed the forums and can't exactly find anyone who has had my problem. I'll explain. Wife was playing on our PS3, was done and switch sources and the TV shut off. I came home, unplugged it, waited an hour and plugged it back in. When I did just clicked 3 or 4 times. The red led light would blink a bunch, but the TV would not turn on by using the remote or the controls on the TV itself. I do not even believe it was in a stable standby mode. So I figured it was probably a power supply as this had happened to a friends tv. So I replaced the entire power supply. It however did not fix my issue. It remains the same. So I tried unplugging the Y main, plugged it in and I only got the one click this time, but the red led light does not stay illuminated just blinks. The tv will not turn on, no grey. Just black. The same result came after I tried unplugging the X main. Any suggestions? Honestly my next idea would've have been to replace the main board. However, I know very little about this so I'm leaving my self at the mercy of the gods as it were.

Re: Samsung PN43D490A1DXZA
I have the same problem. Even that the caps looked all ok, I replaced 3 caps and still the problem was there. 6-7 clicks, black screen and the red lid blinks.
I replaced the power supply board. Still the same problem. I don't know what else may be the problem. How do we find out what the problem may be?
Thanks.Comment

by Asraf AtbHi everyone,
Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.
Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.
I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....1 Photo -
by JSin21Hoping someone here could possibly help. I have a few questions in regards to compatibility with main boards. But I'll give a quick short run down on what's going on first;
I have Samsung Smart TV UA65MU6100WXXY version DA01
Now years ago it started intermittently playing up after a lighting strike. Lighting hit the block of units i was living in at the time. Ever since that night the TV started having a mind of its own, It would randomly turn itself off or on, and all inputs stopped responding like HDMI, aerial, but USB still worked. Anyway, over the next few months...4 Photos -
by YanlebHi, I did look everywhere to know if Samsung Y Main boards LJ92-01732A without rev marking is compatible with LJ92-01732A rev AA2.
If they are not compatible why did Samsung give them the same part number to begin with?Yesterday, 11:35 PM -
by elpatxi_bcnHello!
I just got a Samsung TV model HG75EJ690UB 75" and 4K. It is a hotel TV, with a slightly different version of the Tizen operating system than the TVs at home.
Being a hotel, it is covered in many functions. With the service menu I can unlock some, but not others. For example, I can't install apps like Netflix etc...
The fact is that it seems that I can replace the main by a, say, "normal". I think the one that corresponds is NU7105, ref BN94-02635. At work, which is a convention center and a hotel, I have many TVs from 55" to 85" that... - Loading...
