    card reader software

I got a guy here who needs tech support on an art project he's pulling for some tech show. Pretty much he's gotten hold of a few dozen single track swipe cards and put custom graphics on them. Now he's trying to encode his email and a URL into the track but on top of a writer, he also needs something to read and verify it worked. This is where I came in.
I have two readers, an ID Tech WCR3331-33QB and MR3 MR32-KB multi-track card reader, and if I can get the software to control them I got myself a chunk of my rent paid. Unfortunately I'm having a hell of a time finding the software that will distinctly tell me "yep, there is something on track X". All I am getting is the instruction manual and bogus links.

    Any help here?

If you are referring to StripeSnoop, that didn't work.
It's more for TTL card readers wired to the game port and the keyboard port support is a lot more limited. It also seems to query its own little database which for the most part consists of bank cards...
