i am messing around with Artisteer at the moment as a wordpress template generator. it looks like word 2007 or something. There is lots of options and sample stuff, its quite versatile.
But in the end there is still some restriction on the layout, ie its gonna look like quite a few templates and sites on the net.
I messed around with joomla before but i couldnt get my head around it. wordpress seems not too bad, in the end i was forced to use it cos i am working on a collaborative project.
still this artisteer is quite interesting cos i like to make personal touches rather than use someone elses template (dont even start on the template hacking with notepad or something, uuuuh what a pain). its not cheap though.
