    Support non-ECC DDR2-667/800
    Support 1.8V DIMMs
Support 256 MB, 512 MB and 1 GB DRAM technology
    8 GB maximum system memory
    Support dual-channel interleave mode

    I have a Pentium D 820, I think its 800 FSB.
Can I use it with two sticks of 2Gig each 667 memory?

    Re: Matching processor and memory

The machines I service with this board use DDR2, PC2-5300 type. Bus is 333 MHz, which is the 667 DDR speed memory.

Corsair and Crucial make good quality memory. I've never had a failure with Crucial, and currently have two pairs of Corsiar XMS2 TWINX-6400C with bad sticks, under RMA. Both sets arrived from Newegg with one of two sticks having errors. These are the 2x2gb matched set.

Corsair is getting killed with negative feedback on Newegg for these sticks. Evidently they changed from premium to budge ICs in the middle of the production run, and the sticks are now failing at stock clocking.

Micron D9xxx chips are getting kicked with tons of negative feedback at ocforums.com.
There's a major amount of Micron D9xxx failures reported.

      I just hope my Kingston DDR2 800 KVR800D2N5K2/1G don't fail.

I dunno what chips mine have. They say "Kingston" on them.
