Ideacom TSC touchpanel driver W7 64

This is for an Asus ET2203T all-in-one. Touchscreen works fine in W7 32 bit, but for the life of me, I can't find a W7 x64 driver for this silly touchpanel.... Maybe one of you would have better luck? With all my google searching, all that ever comes up are those stupid phony drivers sites...

I appreciate the effort in finding this!

Wow! there is a ton of crapware driver sites. Google banned the good ones from search results?

Note: due to not having myself the all-in-one mentioned, there is room for errors. Still, this should work ok.

Looks like Asus never published drivers for any x64 windows, so I downloaded the xp driver and unpacked it with UniExtract. The driver section includes a x64 section with these hardware id's in idcfltr.inf:

    VID_1CB6&PID_6680&MI_00
    VID_1CB6&PID_6681&MI_00
    VID_22B9&PID_6681&MI_00

One of these should be the same as yours. please verify it first.
The newer (and last) driver from asus is version 3.2.1206.14, but looking based on the VID & PID values found other (hopefully compatible) from the Acer Veriton Z2621G.

This driver have essentially the same structure but mentions specifically win 7 x64 and includes the same PnP ID's.

You can download it form the acer website:

    www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

select my product form a list -> All in one -> Veriton -> Veriton Z2621G

Then Windows 7 x64, the driver is IdeaCom Touch Driver 3.3.0.28 (filename Touch_IdeaCom_3.3.0.28_W7x86W7x64_A.zip )

I don't know if the installer has some kind of hardware validation (looking at you, Sony!); in a VM got installed without barking about absent or wrong hardware.

Hope this helps, and sorry for my bad english.

They didn't work. getting driver signing errors with them.....but I didn't mess with them that much. I'll get back to that when I have a little more time.

        I found some information here:http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...?page=5&auth=1
        here is a quote:
have a ZX4931, an older one, but I guess with the same IdeaCom touchscreen.
Gateway is pretty slow on updates, as well as the MS.
I was digging in hardware IDs and etc and tested a couple of drivers.
Found I working, but somehow it recognizes only 1 touch (though 2 points are capable with the touchscreen)
        OK, here we go...
First download the IdeaCom driver (Win7 x64) from MSI webpage.
        Service & Support > Download > All-In-One PC (under Option 2), Entertainment series > 19" Series > Wind Top AE1921 > Driver.
Switch to WIndows 7 64 bit.
Download "IdeaCom Touch Panel Driver" Driver Version: 3.3.0000.13
        http://msi.com/service/download/driver-13890.html
After the download Extract and Run in Windows 7 compatibility mode and run as Administrator.
Let it install, after the reboot the touchscreen should be working.
2 shortcuts appeared on my Win8 start menu (for configuration and testing)
        I included the driver.

Can't you bypass that? Some legit drivers are unsigned. Related audio comes to mind.

I dont get this stupid thing at all....not even finding it in device manager by the hardware ID's...and theres a big laundry list of HID's. Doesnt show any non-functioning hardware. I never used the touchscreen, but just figured I'd get it working. Now its pissing me off....lol
