Max ram for Compaq Presario s4020wm?

Going to be upgrading a PC for someone, and compaq claims that the max ram is 1GB (2x 512MB PC2100). It is a KM266 chipset, anyone know if it would actually support 2x 1GB?

The system has an Athlon XP 2400+, with a downright pathetic 128MB of ram To make matters worse, the hard drive is only 5400rpm. Small ram, big swap file+slow HDD=very slow computer

My KM266Pro board, a Biostar, claims to support 2x1GB. However, that's not the same chipset, really, it's some variant of the KM333 remarked. So I doubt this helps...sorry.
