Assistance with IBM Thinkpad 570e

The screen went blank, white in color.
Assuming it is the ribbon cable connecting the LCD to motherboard.

Q: How do I take the keyboard out to reset/reseat the ribbon cable?

I took all of the screws out, with no luck.

I have Thinkpads also but can not use them anymore.
The manuals are freely available online. just search but it may be a 560E you see, and they are compressed pdf's.

I managed to find the manual, however, the plastic strip at the top (below the LCD) will not come off. Can't find the screw underneath it.

I'm sorry but mine are Transnote model with reversable swivel screen.
Way different, I can't be much help.

Yes reading 09n8609. Somehow the thing turned on correctly, except it is having a malfunction with the software now. Meh.

I've seen white-screen problem on 755CDV. Disassembling and reassembling it fixed that
