    bluetooth mice

thinking about going to a bluetooth mousefor my laptop.

it has a built in bluetooth 2.0 module

I would like to do away with needing to plug in and use up one of my laptop's 2 usb ports

I also like having 5 buttons... i use them a LOT when i web browse

I currently use a microsoft usb wited 5 button optical desktop mouse, which is rather bulky... and it has no horizontal scroll.

    my questions are:

    1. does a bluetooth laptop mouse exist with 5 buttons? (preferably with the side buttons on separate sides)

    2. how pricey would one be

    3. I use linux and windows on my laptop. are there any issues with bluetooth mice that i may not be aware of?

if you wanna go totally overkill: Razer Orochi
wired via USB & wireless via BT (both!), laser sensor, 10 buttons, 4000dpi (wired) or 2000dpi (wireless), onboard memory for custom key profiles and macros, .....

let me add somehting: i also have to be able to afford it. and find it in the US. i just blew $50 on a new mainboard. $60+ for a mouse is not going to happen. $30 is pushing it.

that was just an example for models to search for.
i don't know any US price comparison sites.. and i doubt i would find reputable ones by searching on google

I have a Dell set at work that I like, but I do have a few issues with it.

Sometimes it will stop responding while I'm in the middle of actively using it. It'll pick back up eventually. Also, sometimes it'll pick a letter, hang, and repeat it for a while. So I'll be typing alooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong...

          Just for instance.
