I recently recapped my first computer (Power Mac 6100) and it seemed to go ok. After trying to boot it I get a crackly boot chime and then I hear the crash sound.
How do I know if the replacement capacitors are suitable? (I am a total newbie and should have done a bit more research obviously)
Original capacitors labelled:
Y4 (I believe this is the batch number?)
47
16V
On my other 6100 they are labelled:
Small rectangle and then "4E"
47
16V
Replacement capacitors: (aluminum polymer solid-electrolyte capacitors)
Link
214
PG
47
16
If these aren't suitable replacements how do I find the correct ones? I would prefer to stick with aluminum polymer solid-electrolyte so they don't leak in the future. The original capacitor labels don't match the current label typs so I'm not sure how to compare
