help identify SMD part

hi peeps

(im not an expert far from)need a bit of help in identifying an smd capacitor,i know it is an 0805 size but no clue as to the value or rateing ,is there anyway to id the componenet??it is on a circuit board from a power tool i did a continuity test and it the only one that gives a beep on the multi meter

It's a resistor and it has it's value marked on it, 101 is 100ohms.
Measure it in resistance mode.
