ESR meter not showing anything for 0.1uF

    Hi,
my ESR meter doesn't show any ESR for this capacitor: https://www.tme.eu/sk/en/details/r46...acitors/kemet/.
Is that an issue? My RLC meter shows the capacitance: 85nF.
I'm new to ESR, so maybe this is all expected for this type of capacitor?
    Thanks

component testers dont show esr for very low caps - it's a software function.
    here is some text!

It depends on the firmware version of the tester too if it is based on the open source transistor tester project.
For example my with latest k-firmware can test ESR of a film cap down to 47nF but a 10nF shows no ESR.
Here from the manual that stj linked:

The tester tries to measure the ESR for capacitors larger than 10nF.
Alternatively you can also enable the old ESR measurement method starting
at 180nF. But since the ESR measurement isn't done via an AC signal with a
specific frequency, please don't expect a solid result. The method used might
be comparable with a 1kHz test. Anyway, the results are good enough to check
electrolytic caps. For low value film caps you could get different results
based on the MCU clock rate. I'd guess Mr. Fourier is able to explain this.
That said ESR is generally not of interest for a X or Y class film capacitor, only capacitance so it doesn't really matter anyway...
