    Help me with these pictures

Hello everybody, this is my first post here, i hope this is the right place to ask. Also sorry form my english.

The story, i have a Panasonic SC-AK78 and after a power cut off the stereo stopped working. When i'm trying to power the unit i receive an error F61. After some research i found out that the common thing is a defective power regulator (ic STK-470-040), i changed the thing but no luck. So i was thinking that some caps are dead.

Please take a look at these pictures:

The only caps i see something wrong with are the ones from the pictures. Do you think the red stuff around the caps is from cap leaking or is some kind of adhesive to hold the caps?

    Thanks.

    Just like you said, adhesive.

I'd take the caps off of the board and check them on a cap meter if you have one. Sometimes a fluke meter will have this capability.

I thought so, it was too easy lol. Unfortunately i don't have a cap meter, i saw there is a method to test the cap with an ohmmeter, i'll try that.

      Thanks.
