    MSI GF66-11UE MS-1581 BOARDVIEW

Hi guys, I have a problem with my laptop which is MSI GF66-11UE. 3-4 days ago I wanted to change thermal paste, unfortunately one of screw was become stripped and I forced a little bit that screw.Anyways when I finished the change of thermal paste and picked up the laptop at last I realized that I didn't put the edp connector inside but the problem is I put this while the battery was still connected the motherboard. That caused a few sparks.

Fortunately, the laptop booted up afterward. However, it was running using the CPU's integrated graphics, and it didn't detect the dedicated RTX 3060 mobile GPU. At first, I didn't notice the issue and tried all possible software solutions, but none of them worked.

The thing is, last night I noticed a tiny component near the eDP connector, and there was a slight burn mark in that area. Since I don't have the schematic or boardview for this motherboard, I couldn't identify what the component was. But based on my research and by comparing it to the boardview of the MS-15821 (which has a similar layout), I believe it's a ferrite bead.

If anyone happens to have the schematic or boardview for the MS-1581 (or MS-15811), I would really appreciate it if you could share it. And for those with more experience, could you help me confirm — is this component actually a ferrite bead?

    System Specs:

    • CPU: i7-11800H

    • GPU: RTX 3060 (well… it was)

    • RAM: DDR4 3200MHz 2x16GB

XZZ has this board. Not sure what that component used to be. A fuse?

Oops sorry I jumped the gun.

Looks like that component still exists on your board? Not sure what the burn mark is.

Probably just some spark arc soot when you touched the connector.

Got it, the GPU (RTX3060) is not working at the moment and it is not visible in the device manager. I don't think the graphics card is completely broken, but as can be seen in BoardView, this component seems to be providing power to somewhere. If we can detect this component, I can replace it and maybe get the GPU working again.

What component? There was no component where the burn mark is according to the schematics. The capacitor directly above the burn mark might be unharmed. Easy enough to check with a multimeter.

I'm looking for boardview (or schematic, or even some hi-res board photos of the board) for a Zotac Gaming Geforce RTX 3060 AMP WHITE ED 12GB (P/N 9288-BN617-210Z8).

Trying to fix one, but someone really messed up the board badly already and I don't know what is missing....

                3090 FE Part Confirm/Identification
                by H H
                Hello,

I'm hoping someone could help me confirm if I have identified the following parts correctly.

Apparently the DP cable became stuck inside the graphics card and was yanked out. This caused some sort of short which burned the DP contacts and blew some resistors and ferrite beads.

The parts needing replacement are on the back of the board behind the HDMI input.

I have identified the parts as the following:

                C6037: MLCC 0.1uf/16v(0402)x7R W05

                R6016: RES 499 OHM 1/16W (0402) 1%

                LB10911: Ferrite Bead (0402)...

Gigabyte Eagle 3060 Ti - Boardview / Advice request please
                by user234
                Hi all,

Recently installed a new motherboard but during the process I seemed to have damaged my Gigabyte Eagle 3060 Ti card.

My motherboard ROG STRIX B550-A is detecting an issue with the VGA (light ON)

I have attached 2 photo's of my GPU board, one above and the other is what I believe to be the 5V - as you can see, this has visual damage so looks suspicious to me.

If I replace this part what are the odds this will resolve the issue? - any additional information on where to source the parts would be much apricated too!

                This is...

                Hellow guys,

Does anyone has boardview or schematic of this graphics card? Or something that is more or less the same?

                Thanks for your time.
