    AMD Radeon R9 290 / R9 380 / R9 390

The Radeon R9 290 was a high-end graphics card by AMD, launched on November 5th, 2013. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Hawaii graphics processor, in its Hawaii PRO variant, the card supports DirectX 12. This ensures that all modern games will run on Radeon R9 290. The Hawaii graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 438 mm² and 6,200 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked Radeon R9 290X, which uses the same GPU but has all 2816 shaders enabled, AMD has disabled some shading units on the Radeon R9 290 to reach the...

    Sapphire Radeon RX5700XT IR35217 configuration
    by PeqNP
    Hi,

I have a faulty Sapphire Radeon RX5700XT with a short on the 3.3V PCIe rail. I was able to trace the short to the IR35217 which is responsible for managing VCore. The issue with these controllers is, that they need to be configured. I managed to get hold of a copy of PowIRCenter as well as a compatible USB flash device. What remains is, that I don't have the IR35217 configuration for that card. Does someone here own this card and can share this configuration? As this is a reference card design I would suspect that any other reference card would do the trick as well. The configuration...

    AMD Radeon R7 340 / R7 430 Schematic & Board View

The Radeon R7 340 OEM was a graphics card by AMD, launched on May 5th, 2015. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Oland graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 12. Even though it supports DirectX 12, the feature level is only 11_1, which can be problematic with newer DirectX 12 titles. The Oland graphics processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 77 mm² and 950 million transistors. It features 384 shading units, 24 texture mapping units, and 8 ROPs. AMD has paired 2,048 MB GDDR5 memory with the...
