Hi everyone, I have a Xerox XA7-19i with a 2 seconds to black problem.
On visual inspection of the PSU board I found 1 x 470uF 25v cap to be blown and one other component on the underside of the board to be blown as can be seen in the photographs.
It is labelled: 4606 BD4358
It is in position U101 as can be seen.
What kind of component is this? A transistor? It will probably be hard finding a direct replacement with the same label but maybe I can replace it with one of the same likeness? Is there any way I can check what it is using a multimeter on one the other ones (in U102,U204,U105).
I was going to do a full re-cap but I need to find out what this compnent is and what I can replace it with. I am an amateur but have decent soldering skills and patience. Can anyone help me find a replacement for this component?
Many thanks in advance,
Leo
