Vizio smart tv 70 inch

Have the opportunity to buy this for real cheap. Does the description indicate Main board problem or panel problem or tcon problem. I would think the randomness of things would mean an ok panel. If you notice the Vizio 1st picture has repeating pattern.

I am going to go with Panel, both photos show the right side being dark, I see double image.

How much?

Hmm, I don't know. Quite a few new Vizio LED panels don't even use a separate T-con anymore its either built into the panel itself or on the mainboard.

Model number?

2 revisions, one with T-con board, the other is built into the unit.

Shopjimmy pretty much summed it up in the description. Seems to be a bad panel.


 IMPORTANT: The following picture symptoms indicate a bad LCD panel, and NOT a bad T-con board:

-One side of the picture is darker than the other
-Picture has horizontal line(s)
-A dark, cloudy spot spreads across the picture

Installing a new T-con board in a panel with one of the defects above will result in damaging the new board.



Look for the ZH stamped on the board.
