X555LD - Identifying hard drive sometimes.

Before I dig into this rabbit hole ...

On occasion, hard drive is not found. Not listed in bios.

Other times, it boots and runs fine. HDD test ok in another computer. New hard drive does the same.

Any known issues with the daughter board for the hdd connection?? Don't have an extra laying around to check. May try a simple bios flash and see if it clears. But wanted to see if anyone else here has run into this with this model.
