    White screen on Chimei CMV222H

    Hi all,

I open a new thread cause my problem has evolved, for info the original thread was here: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=24043

Resuming the history, I had my display power on, backlight ok but black screen. It smelled burned. I opened it and I found 1 cap bulged on power board and 1 mosfet completely burned on the TCON (fuses were ok). So I changed them but during testing I blown one fuse in the TCON input. I replaced the fuse with a new 3A one and after few minutes it was blown again. So I replaced the fuse with 2 3A fuse in parallel.
Now the display works for few minutes and then the images fades out in a soft white light.
If I turn off and then on the display, it works again for few minutes.
I hear something buzzing on the power board...

    Any suggestion, please?

    Thanks.

As a general rule we dont like people starting new threads for the same machine.
Can you update the old thread saying you have started a new one. We really need good pictures of the fronts and backs of your main and power boards. Does the pair of fuses get hot and does the mosfet get hot.
Usually when one cap goes bad on a power supply others soon follow so we often recommend replacing any caps of the same make and series with GOOD low esr caps
What make series cap did you use.
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

I'm sorry! I updated old thread with a link to this one.
