    216BW caps list

I'm looking to replace some caps in a couple of "delayed/flickering turn-on" 216BW's, and I'd like to make sure I'm ordering the right parts.

So far, this is my Mouser parts list:

    2.2uF 50v -- EEU-EB1H2R2S, 5x11mm
    22uF 50v -- EEU-FR1H220, 5x11.5mm
    47uF 63v -- EEU-FR1J470, 6.3x11.2mm
    330uF 25v -- EEU-FR1E331, 8x11.5mm
    820uf 25v -- EEU-FR1E821 (X5), 10x20mm

The 2.2 wasn't available in the FR series, but the EB series is long-life (5000 to 10000 h). From what I've read, the smaller caps might not need replacing, but I'm doing it anyways since I'll have the monitors apart anyways and it's only a handful of change more.

And yes, there are other threads on the 216BW, but being new, I'm not sure which is considered worse here -- starting a redundant thread or necro-posting/hijacking.

That looks fine - I'm using those same caps and have no problems. The 820uF's were not in stock so I used Nichicon UHV1E821MPD, and for the 2.2uF's UPW1H2R2MDD. Take pics and write down the caps, I got distracted and forgot where a couple went

The IP-43130A power supply board is used in several Samsung monitors (205BW, 206BW,223BW,216BW, 226BW, G22W)

also just for the hell of it you could post some pictures.
normaly as long as you got the same ratings on the new caps it will work on not super informed of the series stuff still ive bean told fr or fm series before i think and on monitors you could go with panasonics whitch sounds like your allready doing that.

I usually go with Mouser for better pricing on lower-volume stuff.

Unfortunately, I don't know where my good camera is at the moment and the grainy pics my junk cell-phone ones takes won't do anyone any good.

Yeah, those are all Panasonic caps.

Fine-point Sharpie is my friend for that -- either for part values or for making sure cables go back in the right place.

Mouser is out of the 330uF,25v in the FR Series
I'm probably going with one of these:

                Nichicon UHD1E331MPD 8x15mm
                Panasonic EEU-FM1E331L 8x15mm

In other news, yes they have CapXon's in them -- all of the 620's and 330 are swollen.

                  Re: 216BW caps list

Got my shipment from Mouser yesterday, first patient is done, up and running. I forgot how bright these monitors are when they're working right

I'll do the other one tomorrow.

Side note: Went with the Nichicon UHD1E331MPD 8x15mm for the 330uf caps.
