I am working on a Dell precision 3560 with a locked BIOS. I used AsProgrammer software with the CH341A v1.7 set at 3.3V. AsProgrammer is the only software that works with the CH341A that lists the W25R256JV. Reading the 25R256JV with this setup returned garbage results. I switched to my T48 programmer and it identified the chip as a 25Q256JV and appeared to read the chip perfectly.

I need to reprogram the chip but I am not sure if the programming the 25R256JV with the 25Q256JV setting will work. I don't want to risk bricking the computer.

Anybody have any experience or...

hello im just a redkneck who just up untill about 2 or 2 and a half years ago didnt even know what usb stood for. never had my own computer aside for college briefly. typed with one finger lol although my grammer still sucks and i cant spell for $h&* i can type i feel at least efficiently enough to get by now 2-3 years later and feel in a short time i went from no knowledge or interest to now to today where i found this website because i have my own electronic work station at home i have had jobs working on MRI coils as a electronic repair tech and am currently needing a bios.bin file...

first boot write your service tag then press alt+f...

Help me fix this dump file, i try unlocking password, then it get error code 3-6. I already tried to flash back the original file, the error is still there. Maybe ec rom get error after flashing bios?

Let me ask those asking to remove password - have you tried [URL]https://bios-pw.org[/URL] ? It worked very well for me couple of times with Dells (just read carefully and try with Ctrl-Enter, not just Enter).

My question - I have a Bitlocker recovery locked Dell Precision 3560 laptop with absolutely no chances to get the recovery password. I want to try to reverse the changes, that triggered that issue, so I'm looking for "ordinary" BIOS for this model, but other than those posted...
