Re: Dell XPS 9310 GDA30 LA-J143P bios repair please
Hi
I have an XPS9310 with corruption in the bios (3,6LED) I have tried other files here and it now works but does not see any SSD's in the NVME slot. The SSD slot was working before corruption.
Can you repair my original file? Service tag DWLL793
Thanks

Re: MacBook Air 2010 RAM upgrage
As far as i can tell ram may not be limeted by any apple software
the reason i say this is apple logic boards use two chips. firstly the efi/bios chip witch is probably what we are looking at messing with. this also stores the firmware password!
if you go to apple downloads you will see updates for the firmwares on the smc and efi chip.
But notice its not specific to ram size/processor speed? sort of seems like a 'one firmware fits all of this model' sort of scenario but im never quite sure. you guys probably know more about...

Re: Dell XPS L501X Power Short/Issues
Hi, i have the same issue, the battery light was flashing when i hit the power button (although there was not battary plugged in), and its a laptop that suffered a failed battery.
Hence i think theirs something in the 19v line around the charging circuit that's causing the issue, checking voltage in areas around there, there are voltage droops to around 10v (activity dropping when measured)
Im a rookie to all this component level repair, any ideas what could be the culprate, could solve OP's issue possibly too.
