Power switch is good...i can switch it off with it, it starts only when CMOS connector removed & 4-5 times cycling through finally it comes on, it stays on thereafter..I tried Dell diagnostics it gave error at webcam check..Is there a problem with webcam?...

No, if the bios is bricked the machine would not turn on at all. Check the power on switch, most probably this is the reason....

Hi..i Have a Dell precision 7710 it only boots when you remove AC adapter, battery & Cmos connector, then plug in the adapter & turn on..display comes on only after 3-4 self restarts, it takes couple of minutes..is my bios bricked?

Hello,
My Dell Precision 7710 refused to startup yesterday. I haven't done anything unusual but when I try to turn it on I don't see any startup screen on display. The led lights on laptop blink in a pattern (2 amber, 1 green) which on dell site suggests error related to processor or motherboard. I am here to fix the laptop. Thanks for having me in the forum and looking forward for a solution.

Hello, Dell precision 7710.
when I power on, there's no dell logo or startup. LED battery light sequence 2amber,1green. Continous boot loop with fans running?
Is it bad motherboard or processor?

I don´t have a US keyboard available right now, but shouldn´t it work nonetheless if i change z for y etc...?

Use an external (US) Keyboard (QWERTY), use Shift key for Uppercase letters, hold left CTRL key then hit ENTER twice....

I need help with my Bios PW on Dell 7710, the ones generated on bios-pw don´t seem to work.

Its a 7710 6H358H2-E7A8

I have a german Keyboard but typed it in like it was US, tried both SRTG+Enter and Enter only, no luck so far.
