Thanks to this thread here at badcaps.net, there's been another simple $1 repair = I just replaced only C1 (22µF 50V) and my CP1350AVRLCD is fully restored to health! I did choose to "elevate" C1 up from the board = rather than solder it "down" on the board I put about ½" of small heat-shrink on the capacitor legs, then soldered C1. I'm hoping an "air gap" above and away from the VIPER22 chip might make C1 last longer. THANK YOU!
