  • I did forget to to put the board model in before I posted, but I noticed after posting and added it in the edit just after.

These are not all issues that I specifically found, just compiled from posts with the same or similar hardware that share the same components, that all seem to have the same issues. Looks like this would more specifically be to 11th gen intels found in t14/s/x13/etc.

I was trying to determine which route would be most reasonable to diagnose or attempt any repairs. From what I have read, and generalized, I think the main issue (at least effecting...

  • Intermittent USB-C / USB-A issues + Trackpad Freezes — T14s Gen2 (11th-gen Intel) — Seeking Board-Level Advice

I’m looking for advice on board-level troubleshooting and potential component-level repairs for a Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen2 Intel (i7-1185G7) showing multi-domain instability. • I created a bootable flash drive with 3.5.79/8 (however the versioning works) and just imaged it. Not sure how long this will stay up. Just download the raw image file here and use something like win32diskimager to write it to a flash drive. Should be fully bootable/updated as of now. Minus the linux diagnostics part, which I cannot find a working download for.

tested it with 2 different flash drives, usbc and usba, 2.0 & 3.1, didn't have an issue booting it ever. Should ideally make the process a bit simpler/quicker.
