  • So here's the problem I forgot to make a backup before trying to reflash the BIOS. I was in a hurry that day and it slipped my mind. I also noticed that the SY8386BRHC_QFN16_2P5X2P IC, which is supposed to provide 3.3V on the EN pin, was passing 3.3V but not outputting 3.3V on the OUT pin. I replaced this IC, and the 3.3V output returned to normal, but the machine still won’t turn on. When I press the power button, the amber LED just blinks, and when I release the button, the LED turns off immediately, with no other signs of life on the board. • Hello everyone

    I’m working on a Dell Vostro 15 3510 | P112F001 | Service Tag: G4W42V3 and I’m facing the following issue:
When I press the power button, the amber LED only blinks once, but the laptop does not start or attempt to turn on. As soon as I release the button, the LED turns off and there is no startup reaction at all.
What has been done so far:

All main power rails tested – voltages appear normal
Suspected BIOS/EC failure – both reprogrammed multiple times
However, the behavior remains exactly the same
