  • Ah okay. My mistake. Thank you. I found it after taking out the mobo. It is GD25LR128D. The NeoProgrammer doesn't seem to have this chip settings. Can I use another?

    Out of curiosity, what does the 2mb bios chip hold?...

  • Sorry, it might be W25Q16JVSSI. It is hard to read.

    But a gentleman from YouTube said I could use the W25Q16JV or W25Q16BV setting on NeoProgrammer. When I plugged the programmer, it detected W25Q16FW....

  • Hi guys, I'm super new here but have been looking at the different bin files posted to try and fix my friend's laptop. None of them will work, however, as the chip W25Q16JWSSIQ is only 2mb large.

    I asked for the help of AI to help me summarize the issue:



    To be clear, I haven't done this before. Any help would be appreciated!
