Re: benq fp767 problem 17 inch
Are the c5705 transistors and fu9024 fets the ones with the heat sinks? There's slight discoloration on the board beneath them. I don't see these ID's marked anywhere on the board. All the transistors are marked with a Q and C for caps at least here in Canada. See pg 61 pic 0107. Also which are the inverter transformers? Sorry about the picture quality, cheap camera = cheap pics. BBT.

Re: benq fp767 problem 17 inch
I desoldered the picofuse, with my multimeter set on 2000 I read 583, with it set on 200 I read 1, or open. BBT

As you can see from 0015 and 0076, I'm a fitter/welder so please bear with me. Photos attached. the pic you were looking at was the guy online with the similar problem with his benQ monitor. thanks, badbowtie....

Re: benq fp767 problem 17 inch
I have basically the same symptoms as GASAN with my benq FP767 17" monitor IE power led is on but no image on screen. I"ve taken out the circuit boards to check for anything obvious to no avail, the main fuse is good and its the only one that looks like a fuse. I only have grade 9 electronics 32 years ago so please be patient with me. 1st, I think I remember a transistor has to be removed from the board to be tested. 2nd, on your pic on pg 42, where are the picofuses? I don't even know what a picofuse looks like! I thought they would be "fu9024n"...
