The computer was originally part of a satellite uplink system with proprietary software that calculated look angles for satellites and controlled the various parts of the system.
It was worth about $10,000 for a copy and it was keyed to the individual computer.
Thus access to the bios was restricted.
You should be able to get windows XP to run but you would have to do a new install to get rid of the special version with the restrictions.
