  • Acer Aspire E5 573G , only 100mA and nothing else when powered on

HI,i'm going crazy with this board
    DA0ZRTMB6D0 rev D

i read everything on badcaps about issues of this board...
replaced eeprom, reflashed bios and EC...
removed the GPU with the uma conversion instructions (already used on other acers like this one)

    all voltages are present.. 3.3V 5V 1.7V 1.1V 19V etc ...

when poweringon the board the blue led lights up, and there is a 100ma comsumption
looking with the DSO the eeprom seems that there is some sort of communication

  • kalilinux25 i saw on teh forum that you was working on 2 different acer of the same type.. one with a 75ma and one with 100ma, both threads are just ending without any conclusion... i have right now the same acer on my desk with same values ... they simple does't do nothing 3.3 5voltages are present BIOS is read... ram voltage present , battery charging (BQ chip ok) , shutting down correctly (EC working) 1.66 V on CPU ... but no activity looking a the power supply.

i also removed the DISCRETE video card and made modifications to use only the INTEL... but no changes.

  • i have the same laptop on the bench today, showing the same values..

    1.67v CPU
    3.3V ok
    5V ok
    EC 3.3V
    Bios 3.3V

110 mA and no changes ..

the GPU voltage is missing like in this case.. ( but i don't think this is related to the issue)

the posts are massevely edit and it's hard to understand what the user made to have this answer:

i also powered up the gpu making the jumper on PQ14 but nothing changes... the boot is not made there is a "static" current absorbtion ( 110mA ) without any changes....
