SMD diode identification
I have to replace the surface mount diodes in the attached picture, because they are open, so I need help in identifying them. The marking on the printed circuit board starts with the letters CR, the markings on the diodes are NM 64 A. The dimensions of the diodes are 3.5 x 5.5 millimeters. You can try to touch the connectors on the side of the LCD panel, to check if there is a bad contact.

It is a 1 watt resistor. Now I am quite confident that the monitor will become obsolete before that resistor burns open any more....Leave a comment:
