Re: Sharp Aquos TV Model LC-65LE654U Keeps Restarting
I fixed it. Thank you for your reply and help. I saw on YouTube how someone reinstalled the firmware to solve it, and it worked for me. All the buttons work now and the tv is as good as new!!
Re: Sharp Aquos TV Model LC-65LE654U Keeps Restarting
Thank you for your quick reply. I took the tv apart and everything appears to be good. I included some pictures of the power board. I do have the yellow capacitors. Do you think they are bad?...
My sharp TV Model LC-65LE654U just keeps restarting. It starts, I can see the SHARP logo, the logo disappears, the tv stays on for about 40 seconds, and then restarts again. None of the buttons are responsive so I can not turn it off or on, change input, change volume or channel. So the whole TV is unresponsive, but it just keeps restarting after being on for about 40 seconds. Can anyone help me out?
I removed the capacitor and tried to measure the resistance, but it just reads zero. I'm not using a professional multimeter, but I tried it on other things and does read somewhat correct.
Sorry, I was on vacation trying to enjoy whatever summer is left... I replaced the capacitor, thinking that might fix it, but the tv still does not turn on. Is there anything else I can check without removing the capacitor again?
I have a volt meter and basic understanding of electronics, but I definitely need someone to hold my hand.
Which capacitor is the one that has the cap blown off? All capacitors seem flat, that's why I wasn't sure what is wrong. Normally it is clear to see a bulging capacitor...
I have a vizio E3D420VX and it doesn't work, but it has a different issue. I was watching a movie one day, and I heard a loud noise like something exploded. The TV turned off and it won't come back on. I took the cover off the TV but I don't see anything burnt or anything that would look bad to someone with little to no experience. I have pictures of the boards that I can upload. Please help....
