    Hi guys!
Well, my name is John and i'm from Brazil, Ceara. I'm 17 and i'm a enthusiast in eletronics since 2017 (kind of new in the field).
I'm a pretty crazy guy who takes all the eletronics in the house and start unmounting all of them to see whats inside and discover how it works, it's fun.
A little more about me, let'me see.... I love Stanley Kubrick's movies and pretty much everything about space, once i even developed a CubeSat for a local academic olympic's, it was fun.
I do most of things I do because I see them funny to do, otherwise, i'm notta gonna do it. I think that's why i like eletronic's, they're fun an tricking (a little bit too much tricking some times XD).
I'm pretty excited to join the forum and contribute with the community.
Here in Brazil we have some forum's like EletronicaBR or NotebookReparos but most people don't know pretty much or aren't pretty in the mood to help you.
I've been reading badcaps trend topics since 2020 and they helped me a lot of times, so i just decided to be part of this community, i hope to help somebody with useful information.

Hello all, Compubert here . . new to the forum and found it browsing for info on better capacitors. I have my as/ee/ce and tinker since when I got out of school all the youngsters got the first pick jobs and I wound up in computer support instead. recently had a RCA L37WD12 JSK3220-007D 72100137 POWER SUPPLY fail and had to search for the caps I replaced about 6 years ago. China-co caps and I suspect another has failed though I see no bulging. . . I do have a meter that does cap testing and expect I will find a value that is not what is written on the package. I repaired it once and I will try and do it again. Thanks for the add... Bert.

guess I'll throw my hat into the ring now.

I go back a way with Topcat, while he was still in the electronics biz, when a 200 mhz processor was a sight to behold. I've been using computers since the late 80's (first machine was an 8 mhz 286 with a 20 meg hardcard) and am mostly a networking guy with a helping of programming and a side of hardware.

Most of my involvement around here is behind-the-scene stuff, mostly setting up different services, and as always, needling topcat for still running windows.

Anything else you want to know, feel free to ask.

              Hey Folks,

Nice to meet you, I'm BoilThemMashThem. I've been in the RO mode for a few years, it's time to step up.

I'm a scientist by trade, and I do software engineering for living nowadays. I do not believe in planned obsolescence that's why I try no fix things.

Hello this is jefferyz10. I am starting to learn how to repair motherboards and laptops recently. Currently, I have successfully repaired a water damage short-circuited A2779 and I still have an A2485 and an MSI MS-14C11 in my hands. Too tricky for me
