Hi -
First, thanks to everyone on this forum that provides info. I have the power cycling problem that is well covered in other threads and have been able to trouble shoot it enough using info from this forum to isolate the problem to the main board, and suspect I have the capacitor problem that has been covered so well in other posts.
However, since I have the TV opened up, I thought I'd try to ix another problem I've been living with for a while.
In areas of scenes that are completely black I sometimes get a deep red instead of black. It's a very deep red and really only bothers me. Most people don't notice it unless I point it out.
While troubleshooting the cycling issue, I did notice that Vs drops from 205v (spec) to about 189 when connected to either the Y Sustain or Z Sustain boards. I have the BN04-00222A PS board. I'll try to adjust it once I have the cycling issue fixed, but that seems like a big gap to account for and am not sure that is causing the problem.
Looking for info on what to check.
Thanks,
James
