Removed ribbon from T-CON that supplies LEFT side of display .

Powered on & RIGHT side of picture is perfect .

Issue with display LEFT side .

Anyone had luck blocking relevant data / clock lines ?

thats a good place to start, also check the little caps on the panel driver board on that bad side, unhook it from tcon then test it, look for shorts in diode/continuity mode, can also check for low ohms in ohm mode.

Hi & thanks very much for your advice , but not a S/C this time .


Managed to get rid of all the banding & lines , but LEFT half of picture darker than RIGHT .

Hopefully customer will accept like this , or that's most of the day lost .


With a rear view of the TV , disconnected right side ribbon at T-CON , folded it back & counting from RIGHT of ribbon , i blocked PINS 14 - 21 .

Tried loads of other combinations , but couldn't improve on picture .
