Buddy's repair - No LED backlight but picture seen using a flashlight.
Problem was a leaking PFC cap CP806 with low 141VDC and high 89VAC across it, on Power Supply board BN44-00499A. Original is Samwha WL series 100uF 450V (18x35.5mm LS=7.5mm) and glued down. After replacing it, got ~390 Vdc with 4Vac ripple, LED backlight up and less distortion on the audio for some reason.
Just recapped the entire power supply board, replaced all electrolytic caps, total is 8.
Here is the Digi-Key cap replacement list, not perfect due to component shortages. Example used 2,700uF instead of 2,200uF.
