Resetting the projector lamp timer
1 Open the MAIN MENU. Press ENTER.
2 Scroll down to the MANAGEMENT menu. Press ENTER.
3 Scroll down to the Lamp Hour reset option.
4 Press the right arrow.
The lamp will be reset to zero. -

Used to do this at work with Hitachi and Sanyo projectors.
Sometimes the hour counter will shut the lamp down typically after 2000 hours of use or more depending on the age and make of the projector,resetting the counter will eek a bit more use out of the lamp in an emergency.Don't forget to remove and clean both air filters regularly.Comment

Hoping someone here can put me on the right track. I'm trying to troubleshoot/flowchart the "internal projector error" on my newly acquired Facebook Marketplace bought Epson 5040UB projector (3LED, not DLP). Owner said it needed new lamp, actually error code blink pattern indicates "Internal Projector Error, call Epson support". Unit is out of warranty as of 8/19
Here's what happens:
1) Power on
2) Blue power indicator lights and the lens cover motor opens the lens cover, light fan noise heard
3) Blue status light flashes for appx 4 minutes... -
Hi guys gooday i have a Epson VS250 Projector that turns on and is also being recognized and detected by the computer when i plug the hdmi cable.The only issue the projector lamp is not working .Are these lamps repairable ? Or i should just forget repairing the lamp and just buy a replacement. Thanks... -

My lamp has going to end its life by counter, but lamp phisically seems to be in good condition.
As far as I get known there is atmel 24c64 eeprom used to save lamp life counter. Here is dump of it but unfortunately there is no counter in plain text.
Maybe someone has clear dump of it or has tips how to set counter value.

Hello is there a way to reset the Laptop battery of ACER?
some model works by shorting the + terminal of the battery to the output B+.
but in acer, it does not work.
I've change 1 pc of 18650 ( series of 4 ), and now the output of the batt is 14V, but it doesn't came out to the B+ terminal. -
Hi Guys i have this projector emp-x52 when power on the fan spin and lamp go on but after few seconds lamp go off and led temp flashing with fan at maximum speed. I have check the 2 termal temp but are good are 12.51 Kohm. Have suggestion for me ? TKS
