Toshiba PE0949A (V28A001247B1) corrupted firmware

Hi all.

I have a Toshiba 47TL515U main board (PE0949A, V28A001247B1) that doesn't start.

The debug port is at location CN506. It is 115200 bps at 3.3V. PIN2 is TX and PIN3 is GND.

The current eeprom is corrupted, you can see error messages for bad blocks in the attached log file.

I'm unable to flash the firmware since the TV doesn't start. And I'm unable to find an eeprom dump.

Do you have an eeprom dump I can use? The same main board is found in the flollowing TV models:
32TL515U
42TL515U
47TL515U
55TL515U

you may running at wrong direction.. TOSHIBA TL series if firmware corrupted it mean when you first time plug it at wall socket the LED indicator will change to green or stay on red with out any sign on the set.. so tell us please what do you have when you plug it at wall socket.!!

BTW this series accept flashing MBOOT via usb.

Finally I got a 42TL515U with the exact same main board but a different problem (the image is unstable).

I've been able to remove the flash memory chip (IC603) from that board and clone its content to the other board's chip (using my TL866-II Plus).

The TV now boots perfectly. I've logged the debug port output as a reference for someone that may need to know what a good boot looks like.

I've also attached the eeprom dump that I was asking for initially but ended up extracting myself from another board. It's huge, 512MB before compression. Always backup yours, just in case.

I hope it will help someone out there.
