Samsung UE43J5500 - logo then nothing

Hi Folks,
I have a Samsung UE43J5500.
Backlights went on it so I replaced them.
When I turn it on, the smart tv logo flashes up then screen goes black.
The backlights however stay on.
If I press the button on the tv a small menu comes up in right hand corner. However on selecting smart tv nothing else comes up on screen.
Tried resetting eeprom by shorting SDA to VCC and also SDA to GND. No difference in behaviour.
Wondered if anyone had any pointers?

Enter service menu and do a reset.

Can't get service menu on the screen. Tried remote combination and no joy. Could you confirm remote combination?

Tried that and just does same behaviour of backlight on and no picture
