advice needed identifying an LG oled panel

    Hello,

First post on the forums! Any and all help is appreciated...

I found an 65" LG OLED panel which was taken from the customs directly (shipped on April 24, 2017 from Korea); however there is only a t-con board on it.

Before finding the suitable mainboard and power supply board I believe I need to identify whether it is a 2016 or 2017 B, C, E, G or W series.

In the attachments you can find some of my research and if you know a way to identify these panels I will be greatly appreciated.

    Best,
    Onur

Edit: exact same t-con module is used on 2016 model Philips 55POS9002 OLED series and also 2015 model LG 65UF77 led series and Changhong 65" OLED series; however I believe t-con boards are the most common boards used between series/models (since this one is on 65" LG model).

How did you come into possession of this item seized by customs ? And what country are you in ?

Hello to you, too! My city and country is listed in my profile, just underneath my nick and join date.

I haven't bought anything yet, I am at the research phase and if I believe I can find the necessary components I am going to offer/bid a price for the panel. The panel is advertised in one of the online ebay like site in Turkey (and it is located 4 hours drive from my home city, Ankara).

And I believe the panel is not seized by the customs but rather returned and stuck at the customs. Sometimes, you can buy some stuff directly from the customs. I talked to the seller and I believe he got a lot of things in bulk and has very limited knowledge about the panel.

I even contacted/emailed LG Display Korea but it is a bottomless well; couldn't access to correct person/department.

I am not sure about your thoughts but I am offended by your questions, especially if you have nothing to contribute (hopefully I am wrong and you know something about these panels)... When it comes to forums and communication I am old school; i.e., if you have nothing to add just move on.

Ya sorry I improperly inferred from your post this panel was in your possession and was basically stolen from the rightful owner under false customs pretense. My bad and I do apologize.

I do not however have any extra information for you in regards to OLED though I do hope the gods smile on me sooner rather than later with one of these

Maybe bumping this back up will help someone with any relevant information see it and respond. Cheers!
