Hi I've been looking at the threads pertaining to the Samsung 42" plasma ps42c450b1w and I think I've got a problem with my X Main. The start up chime works.
I did the control board test by jumping pin 3+4 and unplugging the ribbon to the main board but still no plcture.
I've bought a replacement X Main but still no picture.
Unfortunately I read after on here that a bad xmain can ruin your y main and then when you plug in your new X Main the ruined y main can kill your new X Main!
So the solution seems to be to replace both in one go.
The only issue is what if one of the replacement boards is bad? Which I've read they can be even when advertised as 'tested'.
How do I test a new X Main and y main to check they are working before fitting them?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Can't afford a new telly and watching Netflix on my phone is getting old!

. It is a hotel TV, with a slightly different version of the Tizen operating system than the TVs at home.
