LG42LS5700 Backlights type

does anyone know the type of leds that this edge tv uses so i can replace them or where i can get the leds or complete strip

Try e-bay. I buy backlight strips from various Chinese suppliers all the time but ONLY the ones that are marked 'new'. The 'previously owned' or 'used' are a risk. I've encountered no problems thus far.

I did learnt over the years though that it is better to replace ALL the strips and not just the defective one/s as the others soon fail.

just need to know the voltage , I suspect 3 volts
LCD screen duel led edge lit

On the PSU where the LED backlight connector is located, there would be a screen print there indicating the LED Driver output voltage and current. Could we get to see apic of the PSU and then may be able to advise better?
